The intention of the group is to link with female artists who live and work in other cities around the world which have been crowned European Capital of Culture, sharing experiences and expanding our critical language within the arts.

POST aims to nurture links by leading programmes with a supportive and inclusive approach that encourages dynamic and imaginative collaborations reaching new European audiences. POST are committed to transcending national boundaries in the hope of exploring the role of women in the culturally diverse context of Europe. In 2010 POST successfully exchanged with Austrian artists in Linz Austria and in 2012 the project continues in Istanbul Turkey-See Links.

Collaborations:

With These Hands is an artist collective, an open arts group based on the Wirral, North West of England. Meeting once a month, WTH’s exchanges artistic dialogue, materials sharing ideas and opportunities. It is an important support network which links individual local artists. Recent exhibitions at Pacific Road Arts centre and Birkenhead Park Pavillion presented DeJunk ReJunk, artworks created using only recycled materials and discarded belongings that are transformed into new creative assemblages, bringing a new awareness to the objects and their function. New exhibition coming 2012

Markmakers Collective is an arts collective showcasing a range of professional artists at different stages of their careers based at The Brindley Arts Centre, Runcorn, Cheshire. Responding to different environments and group dialogue, Markmakers presents annual exhibitions, workshops and artist led talks. Next exhibition - The Brindley May/June 2012

Liverpool Independents Biennial The Independents is one of the largest and most exciting contemporary visual arts festivals in the UK, with an exhibitions programme that runs parallel with the International Liverpool Biennial. The Independents is an open access contemporary art event that showcases young blood and emerging new talent alongside established international artists who create new works specifically for the Independents Festival. This throws up unexpected and genuine surprises in extraordinary and often unusual venues. Amanda has been a board member since 2008 and exhibited since 2004 – Next Biennial Sept/Nov 2012
